Behind
the Book
I know what it's like to look fine from the outside while something inside is already dead.
I grew up in a broken home, passed between family and institutions, largely on my own by 13. I spent years building a life that looked successful — and feeling nothing. I believed in God the whole time. I just never surrendered to Him.
"No one else wanted my life. But He did."
At my lowest moment I cried out to Jesus — not with polished words, just surrender. He showed up. That night changed everything. I now serve in student ministry at The Fountains Fellowship in Crowley, Texas, and I wrote this book for every person still living in the valley I walked out of.
